Getting Ready for Your Cleaning Appointment

How to Prepare

To get the most out of your cleaning appointment, we recommend tidying up personal items and valuables, securing pets, and noting any special requests. Our professional team will handle the rest, ensuring your home is spotless and refreshed.

Prep Your Home & Clean The Clutter

Tidying up before your cleaning helps our team focus on cleaning rather than organizing. Pick up dishes, clothes, and other items to prevent misplacement and ensure an efficient clean. Clutter can increase cleaning time, which may affect costs. If you’d like your sheets changed, please leave the clean set at the end of the bed to indicate your request.

Keep Valuables Safe

Important documents like insurance papers, bank statements or bills can be mistaken for trash by someone unfamiliar with your home. To protect your privacy and avoid the hassle of replacing misplaced items, store them securely or leave a “Do Not Disturb” note. While theft is not expected, securing valuables ensures peace of mind.

Secure or Relocate Pets

This step depends on your pets’ comfort with strangers and your cleaner’s preferences. If your dog or cat is uneasy around new people, consider securing them in a crate or a separate room before the cleaner arrives.

Highlight Problem Spots

Cleaners can’t guess your priorities. If a specific area needs extra attention, please let us know in advance. Notes left in English may not always be fully interpreted.

Provide Clear Access to the Cleaners

If you’ll be out during your cleaning—or it’s your first service—make sure our team has access to a key and any instructions needed for your security system.

Check & Fix Broken Items

Before your cleaning appointment, identify any damaged or broken items in your home and repair or secure them to prevent accidents or further damage.
